Express Rail Link is a Malaysian private railway company connecting KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2) via dedicated rail services.

All Express Rail Link services operate on a Non-reserved Seat basis.

Travellers are allowed to take any seat available in the train cars. On these cars, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. When all the seats are full, passengers must travel standing on the corridor or the coach entrance without blocking the access to other passengers.

Rapid KL is a urban railway operator in Kuala Lumpur, connecting popular areas such as Merdeka Square, KLCC Park, Bukit Bintang, Chinatown and Little India.

Rapid KL operates LRT, MRT and monorail trains. The KL TravelPass is valid for all the lines regardless of the number of stops or transfers.

All Rapid KL services operate on a Non-reserved Seat basis.

Ticket validity and usage

Ticket reservation is available 6 months in advance, subject to system availability.

The pass is valid for redemption within 1 month from the selected travel date.

The exchange order will be issued upon successful payment confirmation. Passengers can print the exchange order in advance or carry it in their mobile phone and redeem it for a physical KL TravelPass card. The exchange order cannot be used to board the train.

After redemption, the 2-day unlimited travel validity will begin upon the first use of the card. After 2 days, the unlimited travel period ends and the card may be reloaded with stored value for regular public transport use.

Ticket booking conditions

• Cancellations are not permitted, the exchange orders are non-refundable once issued.
• Changes (if applicable) are subject to fare conditions and must be requested before departure.
• Fare conditions are subject to Express Rail Link and Rapid KL operating policies.

Passengers are responsible for selecting the correct departure and arrival stations (KLIA Terminal 1 or KLIA Terminal 2) and verify the reservation details carefully before completing payment.

We accept metro pass reservations from 6 months in advance up to 24 hours before departure. For departures under 24 hours, the metro pass must be purchased directly at KLIA Airport or KL Sentral Station.

Please provide the passenger information and the contact details of the person responsible for booking. We will send by email the booking confirmation and the exchange order.

Complete your payment

Select your payment method. We accept international credit or debit cards.

Check your itinerary and price breakdown. Confirm that the booking information is correct. Before you proceed to payment, you must read and accept the terms and conditions of booking.

Receive your exchange order by email

Once your payment is complete, your reservation will be processed.

In the following 24 hours you will receive the itinerary and booking confirmation by email with the exchange order attached in PDF format..

You can also access to Manage your booking via web and download the exchange order to your device.

How to use the metro pass?

The exchange order is valid to redeem it for a physical KL TravelPass card. It cannot be used to board the train.

The pass is valid for redemption within 1 month from the selected travel date.

After arriving in Kuala Lumpur, passengers can exchange the KL TravelPass by presenting the exchange order at the KLIA Ekspres ticket counters located at KLIA Terminal 1 (Level 1), KLIA Terminal 2 (International Arrival, Level 2), or KL Sentral (KLIA Ekspres Departure Hall, Level 1)..

PICK UP YOUR METRO PASS

Collect the physical KL TravelPass card at the KLIA Ekspres ticket counters. To pass through the automatic gates, tap the card on the Touch ’n Go reader when entering and exiting.
