Osaka Metro is the subway operator in Osaka connecting Shin-Osaka, Umeda, Morinomiya, Namba and Tennoji.
Subway operated by Osaka Metro
Osaka Metro operates subway lines with trains running on conventional rail at a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
On subway trains, travellers can board with standard ticket or metro pass and they are allowed to take any seat available. On these trains, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. When all the seats are full, passengers must travel standing on the corridor or the coach entrance without blocking the access to other passengers.

Change policy
The following change terms apply to the train fares:

If you wish to change your booking with Osaka Metro, please Contact Us. This option is available until 24 hours before departure, after that time please contact directly with Osaka Metro. Change fees will apply.
No change for tickets on public holidays.
Cancellation policy
The following cancellation terms apply to the train fares:

In accordance with the policy of Osaka Metro, tickets are non-refundable but exchangeable for up to 6 months from the date of purchase.
