This region is served by the trains running the KTM Komuter Northern Sector and the KTM ETS West Coast Line.

The KTM ETS service is a comfortable and convenient way to get from Kuala Lumpur to Butterworth, Penang. From here, passengers can transfer to Penang Island by bus or ferry.
