The busses were clean and comfortable, and I felt safe during the ride to Sapa. We made two toilet stops on each ride. The outward journey was on time the return trip also started on time we were then 1 hour too late at the destination. It is recommended if you have connecting trips not to calculate the time too narrowly. Overall, I can say that the ride with HK Bass Lions was a great experience and I would recommend the company at any time! Eva

First experience with sleeperbus was very good, clean bed with warm blanket, toilet onboard and (almost) no honking or other noises to disturb our sleep. Only negative thing was more than half an hour delay in departure and despite that we were at our destination at 04.40 pm instead of 6.18 on a very cold dark morning with everything closed. Gitte  

Got to the designated pick-up/checking place at 21:00 for a scheduled 22:00 departure. Still waiting at 22:30… The whole operation was chaotic and causing a lot of disruption to a beautiful quiet Hanoi street. Eventually a harried man with a clip board noticed us and told us we now had to go to an actual bus station as overnight sleeper buses weren’t departing from here as something had changed... Squeezed us into a mini van that took us 10mins to the bus station. More chaos and the bathrooms were disgusting – no toilet paper to wipe wet seat and no hand soap. Eventually got on our bus which was clean enough, with blanket, water and sanitary wipe provided. At 179cm I was too tall and did not fit in the bed comfortably. Made a stop at a truck stop and needed cash for the toilet. Felt like a very unsafe/unwholesome place for the woman attendant to work alone as the only woman at 1 or 2 in the morning. (I paid her extra). Woke up to the driver taking corners too fast on the way Jema

The only thing we did not like was the fact that cold air was vented non stop, so we had some cold in our backs and heads, but this is quite common arround vietnamese drivers/cars. Rusu

Voyage très confortable. Nous n'avons plas eu le choix entre place supérieure ou inférieure. Une TV ne fonctionnait pas. Message transmis également en anglais pendant les pauses. Francois  

Bus was comfortable and they contacted me with information about pickup. However, the toilet in the bus was appalling, seat covered in liquid, not toilet paper or anything else to wipe it clean with. I am on my period and could not use the loo on the bus, awful. The stops weren't officially announced, nor we were informed prior to the start of the trip at what times we'll be stopping. Worst of all, the time it actually took us to reach our destination was completely wrong. The ticket said we'd arrive to ninh Binh at 9am if we take the bus at 8:30pm. We got woken up at 4:30 in the morning and the driver woke us up and left us in the middle of a dead town at hours when nothing is working. I would've gotten the earlier bus had I known the trip wasn't as long as stated. A horrible experience to be left in a tiny town in the middle of the night when one was meant to arrive at 9am. Bus confortable et à l'heure. Hk buslines est une très bonne companie de bus pour la nuit. Le point négatif est que le chauffeur devait nous déposer au 81 Vo Thi à Hué et à la place il nous a déposé ailleurs et a fait venir un gas pour nous amener à notre hôtel qui était à 5 minutes en voiture. On pensait que c'était inclus avec Hk Buslines mais on a du payer 100 000 VDN On a bien senti que le chauffeur de bus était de mèche avec le gas qui nous attendait. Daniel

Bonsoir, Du côté de ma femme et moi parfait rien à dire, c'était notre première fois dans un bus couchette et c'était génial. Juste manque de film dans le catalogue. A part sa, nous avons eu 1 pause en 11h de voyage, et après les 10 minutes de pause accordée, il y'avais une personne qui était encore au toilette. Nous sommes partis sans lui Hrayr  

Recharger was not working in my cabin. Driver was playing music excessively and loudly for the most part of the journey.. He kept taking unexpected small breaks. We had just had a 15 minute rest break, two breaks at Hanoi airport and another little break, when he pulled over to release himself. The repeated breaks resulted in a 15-minite delay when we hit Hanoi traffic. We eventually arrived 25 minutes past our schedule. Sigrid

Right after we started driving the driver turned the cabin lights on. We asked him to close it. After that he turned the blue window lights on. These lights shined through the blinds as if it was day light. The lights were kept on for the full duration of the bus ride. The worst part, was when the driver stopped somewhere to wash the bus (45 minutes before arriving in Sapa) with a high pressure water hose that woke all the passengers up. The general feeling was the driver wanted to punish us for trying to sleep and do his best to keep us awake. It would be nice if the driver took into consideration the reason for taking a night bus is for sleeping. Van

This was the best bus experience in Vietnam so far. The sleeper bus was comfy, very clean, the bed was long enough for 180cm tall person, the staff was professional, there was WiFi in bus, headphones provided and even LCD. I was afraid while buying the ticket but everything was perfect Igor

Picked us up 2 hours late. Due to arrive at 11pm and we were waiting in the cold until 1am. Bed was comfy and spacious but the blanket had been used by the person before. Driver and staff were polite. Alexandra  

Good driver, comfortable cabin, clean, quiet. Lack of 1 star because I was not noticed that bus is over an hour late and i had to wait alone in the street at night. Also drop of point was changed to another location without being noticed. Sharona

Took the sleeper bus in January 2025. The cabin was clean and the staff well-organised. We transferred to a limousine van towards the end of the journey. Even my mom, a 65yo senior, was able to comfortably settle in. We paid 450,000vnd each for a ride from Sapa to Hanoi. Service standards were within our expectations for the price paid. Nothing extraordinary but they do the job of getting you from point A to B. Don't understand the negative reviews online. I guess people only leave negative reviews when they're pissed and the bulk of people who successfully use the service don't think of leaving a review for something as mundane as point to point transportation. To be fair, they provide a decent service and deliver on what is promised. Would recommend! Zhiyuan

Bus was clean and comfortable, but can’t understand why air conditioning was on 16 degrees for all time at full speed, and doesn’t matter I closed the holes, come out anymore, so suggest to passengers to apply adhesive tape or convince the driver to stop that… Gianluca  

No recommendation for a night trip from Hanoi to Sapa. The bus was over an hour late, while in the meantime another half-empty bus left for Sapa, where we could easily have been accommodated. One of the employees ran around shouting senselessly, nobody knew why. The toilet in the office where we were waiting was broken and we asked if there was one on the bus - the answer was yes, but - surprise - of course there wasn't one on the bus! When we boarded, we were allocated the cabins at the very back of the bus, which were 30 cm shorter than all the others, so lying down was not even possible... and that with a 7 hour night journey. Toilet breaks were not announced, you had to be lucky to be awake at the time. Lena
