FUTA BUS

The bus was not comfortable. Parth  

The sleeping berths are narrow and a bit cramped. An overweight or very tall person would have difficulty. I found it surprisingly comfortable on a 14 hour overnight trip. The bus stopped about every 3 hours for bathroom breaks and most of the places also had decent snacks. Departure and arrival were on time. The pdf Baolau emailed me was not a ticket. I had to go to present it at the counter where they gave me an actual ticket. There is no room in the bus/berths for luggage so it rides in the underneath bus storage. Take just what you need in a small bag because any space you use takes away from your personal space. Overall a good experience. Ramses  

Unofortunately flights from Europe,inclusiv ours ,were unable to reach Vietnam de to the conflict in the Persian Gulf,wich makes it imposibile for us to travel as planned Versescu

I am generally satisfied with my trip from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City. The bus departed and arrived on time, and the journey was comfortable enough for me to get some sleep. ​However, I have suggestions for improvement: ​Communication for foreigners: Since announcements are only in Vietnamese, it would be helpful if the staff could check on international passengers and wake them up upon arrival. I woke up on my own and had to ask around intuitively, but it felt a bit stressful. Olena

Bus travelled and arrived on time. There was a shuttle that picked us up from the hotel in Da Lat and shuttle to the hotel in Nha Trang Jack

They were late by 1 hour. When there is annoucement, they only played the Vietnamese version and cut off the English version. The attendent boy was extremely rude and shouted at me when i triwd to ask him how lon gwe will stop. Kien

Bus parti à l'heure de la gare routière après acheminement par navette depuis le centre de Ho Chi Minh. Aménagement en couchettes pas confortable pour un trajet de jour. A l'arrivée à Can Tho il est compliqué de trouver la bonne navette pour rejoindre le centre ville , le personnel ne parlant pas anglais. J'ai heureusement pu etre aidé par un autre voyageur parlant vietnamien et anglais qui a pu se renseigner pour moi. Francois

The trip was fine. But when it's a day travel I should like the seat back could be put in a straighter position, Inmaculada  

All on board for the Magic Bus! (HCMC to Chau Doc) We have no complaints (and glad we were not put off by any of the negative reviews) online booking was simple and responsive. Be sure to be at the bus station with plenty of time to spare, finding Futa in the back corner took a while but all staff were super helpful with directions. Trip itself was comfortable, (private pod with usb plug, blanket) with 2 stops along the way for food and toilets (although announcements were only in Vietnamese it was easy to ask about the details). And on arrival free transfer to our local hotel. All in all a memorable and affordable experience Jan  

Bus trip took longer than expected, service was great. Did not return on the bus . Came back by ferry instead Malcolm

Terrible. There was no communication. We were meant to be picked up from our hotel, and ended up having to find our own way to the bus depot. The mini-van had terrible seating for my wife and I. The seat I was in, was loose and kept rocking back and forth, making the 3 hour drive impossible for me to be comfortable and I got no rest. I tried contacting Futa bus, and they were completely ignoring my complaints. 30 minutes left from our drive, 2 people got off, only then were we able to get comfortable. I wouldn't use Futa bus again. Justin

The bus left on time and was clean and comfortable. We had one break during the journey, it would be nice to get a few instructions in English, but we just followed what the other passengers did Nicola  

The ”Sleeper bus” was more of a speed bus. First of all the bus was hard to find. When we finally were on it the seats were very small. But the worst part was the driver going way too fast making the trip bumpy and feeling unsafe. We couldn’t sleep due to the hard accelerations and breaking. When the time was 4:20 am the staff came and said we were almost there 2 hour earlier than expected. We then got hurried off the bus by the angry driver and dropped off a 45 minute walk away from the city (in the middle of the night). I will never book a trip with this travel provider again. this costume here in Viet Nam where everyone honks wildly, even during night trips, is just un unbearable. so maybe mor respect for clients, at least from drivers, would be appreciated. Anita

Someone took the seats we booked but the driver was willing to help and apart from that the trip was much shorter than expected (arrived 1h before) and the driver was safe and smooth. Charles  

The only issue I had with the trip was the first rest-stop, which wasn't even a mandi toilet, but just a pee on the floor affair. This was problematic for an older woman and especially for keeping clothing off the floor and dry. Lesley
